Welcome to our Summer Activity Hub! We aren’t setting tasks over the summer, but we will signpost families to a range of quality resources that you may wish to support children with during the summer break.
These booklets are easy to follow, not particularly onerous and are likely to be well received by most children supported by an adult:
DDAT summer learning experiences are available below. When children complete the six weeks activities, evidence should be emailed to DDAT.firstname.lastname@example.org , they will then receive a certificate by email which can be exchanged for a button badge provided by DDAT upon their return to school. The experiences are fun based for the children’s summer holiday, but are also education linked.
Further resources will appear here!
The Summer Reading Challenge, presented by The Reading Agency, is delivered in partnership with public libraries and funded by Arts Council England.
The Challenge encourages children aged 4 to 11 to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure over the summer holidays, providing lots of fun and enjoyment as well as helping to prevent the summer reading ‘dip’.
