Safeguarding
School Safeguarding
At Horsley School we are committed to nurturing, protecting and safeguarding our pupils. We also recognise that safeguarding is the responsibility of the whole school community.
At Horsley we recognise our responsibility for the safeguarding and welfare of all our pupils, all staff and volunteers. We seek to embed good practice as well as to follow statutory procedures when acting in this area. We wish to inform all our parents/carers that whilst we seek to work with them for the care and welfare of our children, at times we may need to communicate with Social Care as a priority, and seek their advice on how to proceed to ensure the welfare of a child.
Our school works with the police and other agencies as part of the Stop Domestic Abuse Together initiative.
Our Designated Lead Person is our Headteacher, Richard Cripps. Should you have any concerns regarding a child, please inform him or any member of staff, who will pass on your concerns.
